The Drainwire taping machine can be used to produce shielded cables. The shielding tape, masking tape, and drain wire are processed in just one step.

Drainwire allows the application of the drain wire in spiral or parallel orientation for twisted and straight wires. It can arrange aluminum tape, PVC tape, and side wire in two different ways: with a combined length measuring/tape feeding system, and a linear pincer system with side wire tensioner. Separate winding heads can be used to apply shielding tape and two-for-one wire to the product at different pitches. One of the winding heads is equipped with double taping, allowing two types of tapes to be processed. With programmable parameters and storage for 200 programs, the machine is flexibly adaptable. It ensures machine production without operator influence and is the ideal tool for your wire set production.
