Overview

The KTB EK electric bundling machine is based on the proven technology of the KTB E Plus but is specially designed for integration into welding tables.

The EK series electric bundlers are based on the KTB 50 E PLUS technology. In addition to the proven advantages, such as short process cycles and flexibility in processing diverse strips, the unit can be integrated into the production sequence with the welding module. The required tape lengths are transmitted by communicating with the welding machine, which reduces operator influence and optimizes the process. A sensor checks whether the insulation is in place, ensuring reliable processing of cables even with critical cable cross-sections. The tape is cut with a self-cleaning shear blade. In addition, maintenance intervals are automatically displayed to ensure optimum operating times.

Tape consumption is calculable thanks to the programmable number of windings and saves up to 80% in material costs compared to heat shrink tubing or caps.

Time savings thanks to short cycle times

Up to 50% of production time can be saved compared to manual processes. The next operation can start with bundling by using an optional pneumatic ejector.

Highest quality and process reliability

An integrated sensor checks whether the insulation is present. The KTB 50 EK thus also processes critical cable cross sections efficiently.
