Overview

The compact and operator-controlled taping machine KTR 10 is an entry-level model for spot-taping pre-fixed cables and simple cable sets with long branches.

The KTR 10 can tape pre-fixed cables and long branches quickly and precisely with spot tapes. The tape length is unlimited, as the machine is specialized for processing meter-long cables. The high productivity is made possible by 2 to 3 times higher wrapping speed compared to hand-held devices and up to 25% material savings. The roll feed can be adjusted from 0 to 70 mm per winder head revolution to produce dimensionally accurate overlaps as required with minimal operator influence. By opening the feed, start and end tapes can be created. If the pre-feed is set larger than the tape width, a saving tape is produced. The wire set is then spirally wrapped and formed into shape.

The KTR 10 is a low-maintenance, as well as reliable, compact machine and requires only minimal training. The speed can be easily regulated with the foot pedal.

Perfect performance for added product safety

Overlaps can be maintained thanks to the roller pre-feed. Due to the constant tension, the tape is also wrinkle-free, and the cutting device saves time.

Economical processing

The winding speed is 2-3 times higher than hand-held equipment, and compared to manual processing, the material saving is 25%.

Double taping for shielded wires

Double taping allows the simultaneous processing of aluminum and PVC tape for example.
