Overview

The bench top taping machine KTR 10 CS offers an entry into program-supported taping of complex or pre-fixed wire sets – especially ideal for long taping runs.

The KTR 10 CS features a combined length measuring and roll feed system. With the option of storing up to 20 production steps, high-precision taping can be created according to individual specifications. Whether it's simple wire harnesses or complex modules such as door wire harnesses, mirror wiring or wire harnesses for the headliner, the machine impresses with speed and reliable performance. The software, which was specially programmed by Komax, is optimally tailored to customer needs. For example, several user profiles with various authorizations can be created. Alternatively, a key switch is also available to change programs and settings. The high operating convenience of the 4-inch touch display is also one of the advantages.

Features

Processing two tapes simultaneously with double taping

Thanks to the double taping model, aluminum and PVC tape can be used at the same time. Shielded wires are thus created in just one process step.

Higher productivity thanks to end-of-line detection

The optional tape end detection registers the end of the tape before the final layer is placed on the wire set.

The best start-level choice

The KTR 10 CS is compact and versatile. Thanks to this design, the taping machine can be easily integrated into an existing production process.

Optional tape pull-off support

Whether tape with high pull-off forces or thin tape: Thanks to the tape pull-off support, extremely flexible wire sets are created.
