The taping machine KTR 15 is specially designed for cable harnesses from a length of 1.5 m to ensure optimum handling even for long cables and branches.

The open winding head of the KTR 15 offers many advantages. Very long, heavy wire harnesses can easily be placed into the machine from the front or from the side, and the taping process starts exactly at the desired position. It also allows maximum flexibility when taping long cable sets with different types of tape, such as in the production of trailer cable sets that require both considerable length (up to 10 meters) and different types of tape for indoor and outdoor use. Compared to manual taping, the winding speed with the KTR 15 is two to three times faster while ensuring the best quality, and material savings of up to 25% can be achieved.
