Flexible coaxial cables with hard insulation surfaces are particularly demanding as they can deform during a normal 2-blade cutting process, and this can potentially lead to one-sided damage to the insulation. The three cutting blades of the Mira 440 3B therefore distribute the cutting force evenly and offer more stability. Due to the three blades, the minimum conductor diameter is limited to 0.5 mm. The device can also process ordinary coaxial, triaxial and hybrid cables. However, tip and cleaning cuts are not possible.
